Great episode! I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was... Better then the last ep, imo.

The "Borg" weren't as much of a ripoff as I thought, but the ships did seem very Wraithy... Maybe it was just me. :rolleyes:

lol, aye, it was better than I thought it was going to be..

Is it typical to wait 2 weeks for a new episode? This is the first year I'm able to watch it on tv instead of dvd..

They usually have one part of the season where you wait two weeks for an episode. Usually it's around a 2 parter and close to the end of the season.

Thats what I thought of the aliens too, Star Trek just popped into my head when I saw them. I'm interested in who they were and hope they appear later on in our universe.

Yeah, I think they'd make a fun enemy, at least for a while. Depends on how they were developed.

That's odd. I've only seen them do that if there is a holiday on Friday, or something.

Edit: Its the Olympics... They start on Friday, so to keep the ratings up, they decided to skip a week.

Well, kind of a smart move on their part, but aggravating having to wait another entire week.

I liked the episode though, and wonder if *they* will appear in this universe.

Hope not myself. Still have too many other unexplored storylines and lets face it - The way Sci-fi is going Atlantis wont have too many seasons left.

Not sure i understand exacly what you folks mean by "borg" ?
Have seen the episode, the random alien's do not seem to be anything borg'ish? If anything they seem more like Herogen from Voyager...

Better episode than the last few for sure. But i like Rodney so i love to see an episode that focus's on his talents alot.

Meh- too many people think "Borg" when they see big grey humanoids in black armor. I agree, more like ugly(er?ish?) Hirogen. The episode was a fun one to watch, but I really want a story arc to get Atlantis actually going somewhere. What happened to Michael? How is Woolsey doing? What are the Wraith up to? (I'm staying spolier-free, so haven't read any upcoming summaries other than ads on SciFi).

Tempest, the borg comments were from the trailer... They look almost exactly alike in appearance. :p

Michael is having tea with his buddies, looking longingly at pictures of Teyla's baby. Woolsey is still in his dress uniform, listening to opera, and the Wraith are practicing their evil hiss, and getting their hair done at "Greasy Hair 4 U"... You just gotta read between the lines. ;)
