Here is mine:

Looks like two dogs stuck together - shoulders and head have long soft blond fur, while rest of him is short coarse brown fur.

We got him when he was 4 weeks. He was so little he couldn't walk. He wasn't supposed to live past 6 weeks. But we rescued him and took him in. He thinks he is human, even to the point of acting like a small child who is afraid of other dogs when they are around.

Birtday boy - 1st birthday was a very big deal.

Christmas Day:

New Addition to my family!

Noel's Story:

My parents were out looking for a kitten for me for Christmas - apparantly hints had been recieved that that was what I wanted ;). I lost my baby of 11 yrs back in February, a black male cat named Cuddles. My parents wanted to help replace him in my heart without creating a "Cuddles Jr." They were looking specifically for a black cat with a wonderful personality.

At 5 weeks old, she was abandoned with her 2 brothers in a box behind a restaurant here in Myrtle Beach. A gentleman had found and rescued them on Christmas Eve, but couldn't keep the kittens. He was bringing them to the local shelter, and my parents had walked in at the same time he did. For some reason one particular kitten stood out to them. They adopted her (we think its a her - too young to tell right now) and took her to the vet for a checkup. She was flee ridden and starving.

Noel stayed with everyone in my family - a secret well kept. She went to work with my mom and spent the night with my grandmother. My mother actually carried Noel around the store in a shoulder carrier while helping customers out.

This morning, after all presents had been opened, my grandparents came over. I was told to close my eyes and hold out my hands - 4 paws went into my palms and a soft purr barely audible was heard.

I cried.

Just wanted to say that Noel died tonight - Dec. 29th. I guess she was just too little, and I just found out she was thought to be abandoned for at least two weeks prior to rescue.

Thanks to Chayne and Dave for condolences - this place really does feel like family!

We just learned she had Distemper. So did the two other kittens abandoned with her. They got it from the man who rescued them - his cat had just passed away as well.

How ironic...

Yet another addition has been made to my little torn family.

This is Anastasia - Anya for short. She was rescued as the tiniest kitten and brought to our local vet. She is six months old now - too old to catch the Distemper that claimed little Noel, but young enough to adapt quickly to the new enviroment. She has been crated all her life, and is finding the freedom of the house very intimidating. She is also extremely nervous - but has already started coming out of her shell - slightly. We just got her tonight.

I am so excited!

And I know it is coming, so I am going to beat you all to the punch - YES I have a thing for black cats and NO I am not a witch. Cuddles was my first baby, and He was black. I had him for 11 yrs and ever since I just have a soft spot for the black kitties of the world.

I have 5 dogs out of 7 (hit but not died but put to sleep)

1-Name: Snooky.
11 yrs old female Black Lab Mix (Still my #1-still alive) very protective of us and getting older.

2- Name: Nikita -Born 1998 Died Stepember 2002 at age 4:*(

Huskey female (she was about 2 yr younger then 1#) but she got hit by car during the night. her spine was nerve damage and couldnt move. she would still be around without any used of walking anymore if went for it. we would have to carry her around going bathroom and eating. we had to put her to sleep.:( her name Nikita -Blue eye. she has 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye.

3-Name: Necro got him early 2002
Black Lab male. He got my Nikita pregant and gave her 4 boys and 1 female. We gave away 4 boys to free back in early 2002 when she was still alive while we kept the female who resemble alot like my #2 with mix of dad (black lab)

4 n 5-Name Little One and Baby somewhere mid 2002 forgot what breed. small mix of husky or something. both black

Baby is like fat and little heavier small dog.
Little One is so smal and thin. she look so like a puppy. I call her Little "Puppy" One (hint:Obeone with Puppy) with small head and cute nose. cute puppy like for small dog. lol

4 Little One is still with me. Both are sister (real life) from same momma and was giving to us friend.

5 Baby-March of 2003:( died 6 month after my #2 Nikita died after terrible snow storm here in Colorado. all got out. both were playing and somehow my Little One tried to pick up Baby. she was alive and limping but hurt but had to put her to sleep. I have no damn clue why someone would drive in blizzard weather. Its was during DAY LIGHT. Unbelieveable. Always together when i see them guarding and keeping a watch of my house..:( miss Baby.

6-her name is Brandy she is Nikita female daughter we kept while giving away 5 boys to relative s friends for frees. she and Necro daddy and daughter are very close and stick together like glue. lol for some reason she shake or get scared as her body shake when i touch her as pet her and stays in corner. accident fault we never got her to in the house when she was puppy. she still runs away from me and tried to get near me slowly. oh well but still trying. she got daddy without momma around. she mix of 90% Huskey / 10% Lab.

7-Male Hybid Huskey
name White Fang or "Fang"
he part wolf (momma wolf-i think) and daddy is huskey
he youngest. got him around 2003 or 2004 when he was puppy.
He loves chasing cars like an idiot back then. lol but he indoor now and have to walk him with lease to go restroom then back in house since neigorbor dont like him chasing his cattles. once in awhile let him out loose to play.
Hybid Huskey act differently then dogs. i heard.

1 cat-Name Elsa (like Lion King film)
she such a sleepy girl and loves to purrs. sometime i get tired of her heat-crap LOL

my sis used to have 2 birds in cage but died for some unknown reason after giving them water and food as they are healty. both were male and female after few yrs.

during early teen, i had hamster name BoBo. he was sweet and nice to hold. sux how animals dont live that long then us humans.:(
before that, I had German Shepard name Heidi back in 1980s. 1 male and 1 female.

yes, all animals who are your pets are like your man or woman best friend and are part of family b ut sad to see them go. Grieve can be pain.:)

I have two cats. One we adopted when she was abandoned, and she turned out to be pregnant. My other cat is my baby. We got him when he was small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, and now he's 15 pounds, and still climbs up me and onto my shoulder. There's also three dogs: a poodle (no comment; I don't like the poodle), a snouzer (can't spell today) that is very protective of me, and some type of terrier mix. The poodle is loud and obnoxious, the snouzer is loud and sweet, and the terrier is quiet and sweet.

Iv got two cats aswell, Max and paddy :) Still very young and are always great fun to watch. They can get out ontop of the house and wonder round the roof, iv come home before and they have both been sat above the door looking down on people comming up the drive!
