Nooooooooooo!!!
Why?!? WHY ME!?!

What is a 64 bit OS better than 32 bit for anyways?

64 bit os better, but its widely unsupported by a lot of stuff. I won't pretend to remember what it does, but a 64 bit (as in kilo bit.. a bit of information, on a PC level this is 0010101000101001 ones and zeros) does everything with 64 bits of numbers insted of 32 bits. 64 bit is not new, but the sofware development of it has been slow :P

In the end, 64 bit is best, but loads of drivers and such won't work (that includes games).

But here is the difference between XP 64 and Vista 64:
XP 64 = Can only run 64 bit programs
Vista 64 = Can run 32 AND 64 bit programs. And this is most likely why you can run it on SGW.

64 Bit has better speed, as it can use alot more memory than a 32 Bit, when it comes to RAM.. 32 bit only uses up to 4GBs Ram with NTFS or FAT32 where 64bit can go way beyond 4GBs.

But at the moment the 64bit is quite new not alot of old games, some new problems and other stuff don't really like it at all.

XP 64 can run 32 bit programs... it emulates it.

but, thanks to wonderful microshaft... this os was forgotten and has never had any decent driver support.

The reason I said it can not run it is because those programs that can run are simplistic, small shit that does not need anything special, when we're talking about bigger stuff it either wont handle it or just handle it badly. Why say it supports 32 Bit programs when half of it won't work...

XP 64 is just bad in my eyes, also to the emulating part, maybe never looked into that, but I won't recommend you try it.

Stick to either, XP 32 (normal) or Vista 32/64.

Good thing I got Vista 64 then :p But I am sure that when it will be released it will support 32 bit XP. Otherwise they are alienating a lot of people.
