Medieval II Total War

Does anyone here play it or think they might get it if they had the money because they saw it on the shelf?

I love it, and recommend it!! HIGHLY!!

Multiplayer has some issues atm, but single player is still well enjoyable!

One of my mates has it, but I've only ever played Rome Total War. It was kinda mad how the infantry, when charged by cavalry, flew ten feet into the air.

I've played it and the Rome one as well. Thought it was also interesting how your heroes can have families and stuff. Great games

England and Spain are alright, but they all have too similar units...all the Western Kingdoms do. That's why I like Russia the best, Poland is okay too.

Havnt played the medievil II one for ages, not sure where it is would have to have a good look but play Rome at times.

Great game, check out twcenter.net for some cool mods for it. For some reason my gaming comp won't accept the 1.2 patch and am unable to play them, though. Anyhoo, I'd suggest using the Broken Crescent (Byzantine to India map), or the SS mod.

I played Rome Total War and it's two expasions, Barbarian Invasion and Alexander. Loved them but could barely play them with large scale battles. Which is why I bought it originaly to play large scale battles. Does anyone know if the expasion for Medevil II Total War, Kingdoms have the Zulu Tribe as a unit? I've always wanted to play them but never could find a game that has them.:(

As far as I know Zulu's aren't included, but then again I don't own Kingdoms. I believe that Kingdoms adds more mainly to Europe (i.e. the Hanseatic League, Lithuania, Teutonic Knights).

Kingdom's didnt have zulu's it had apache and other indian tribes however.

Yes, Apache, added more to the Aztecs, Mayan, etc. Mostly just the Meso-American Tribes that were around prior to the Spanish Conquests.

Kingdoms wasn't a good expansion TBH. Vanilla of Medieval II Total War still kicks butt though, not many people play it online anymore though, but Total War fanatics everywhere are eagerly waiting to get their hands on Empire: Total War.

I just got this game and I love it. I like the fact that units will run from the battle when morale goes bad. I have Cossacks and the units would not retreat no matter what happened.
