Nvision Conference -- San Jose CA

Ok as some of you MAY or may not know I am an Nvida Club-SLI Ambassador.

So this is a fancy way of saying, "I work on steering comities for Nvidia."

Anyway our latest brainchild is:

This is trying to be the largest lan party in history (Guinness will be there).

As an Ambassador I'm pretty much at ground zero for information and questions if anyone plans on attending let me know. I'll post updates here when I get em.

I even have crash space availible for a few people if they want to come in.

Sounds like fun, however I won't be able to make it to this one - already have plans for quakecon. On a side note, the current record is held by a lan event known as DreamHack over in northern Europe. :)

DreamHack holds the current record I don't recall what it is tho.

It should be a lot of fun and there is a lot of cool stuff I can't say yet but anyone who DOES come gets a ticket to the fun stuff cause well :) I get a ticket to the fun stuff.

There will be a guinness book of world records attempt involving the # of girl gamers at the lan party!

San Jose is a long way away for me, wish I could make it, though, I love gaming conferences. :) I used to drive from one side of the country to the other only stoppin' for gas, wish I could still do that. *sigh* Those were the days...

Actually, a recent study said that there females comprised above 40% (46, or something like that, can't find the report but had it up a few days ago) of online gamers. So, there are more than you'd think. ;)

I think that the deal is, that they don't wanna be harrased by 15 year old boys with raging hormones, so they put themselves out there as guys. :P
