CODE OF CONDUCT
All instructions and orders from the SGC Command are to be followed to the best of one’s ability.
The following conduct is not allowed:
Spamming (see below for definition) or any other unauthorized advertising
Flaming
Excessive use of foul language
Pervasive language. Use the “if it is in the show” rule. Worlds like F and GD are not allowed at all.
Racial remarks
Trolling - Posting with an intent to cause trouble or intimidate
Dishonesty and cheating are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to hacks and exploits.
Intentionally transmitting any viruses or trojan horse programs
Anything that violates any applicable state, local, or federal laws
Displaying explicit material i.e. pornography
Posting of distasteful material. Please keep this command family friendly.
Rude or inconsiderate comments. Everyone is entitled to have a good time as long as it is not at the expense of others. Be respectful of command members as well as other gamers.
Intentional team killing or attacks on allies are strictly prohibited.
The Code of Conduct applies to everyone. SGC Members in breach of the code of conduct may face the possibility of disciplinary action. Other users may face the possibility of having their privileges removed from anything under complete SGC control. The Code of Conduct applies for all online SGC activity and includes but is not limited to the SGC forums, SGC chatbox, SGW forums, IRC, Teamspeak, and ingame.
The SGC expects its members to abide by the Code of Conduct and to be the better person in all communities it is a part of. Serious or repeat offenses may result but is not limited to an official warning from the Command Staff. Disciplinary action may include a decrease in grade or a dishonorable discharge from the command.
Definition of Spamming
A post that does not offer or does not relate to the current thread of conversation, offers no constructive comment, or is posted with the sole aim of increasing a users post count.
